I downloaded Slitaz Latest Live using Unetbootin to my SanDisk Cruzer 4GB flash drive. On boot up I have list of choices: default, Slitaz Live, Slitaz core Live, Slitaz gtkonly Live, Slitaz justx Live, Slitaz base Live, web boot and reboot system. With Slitaz base Live I enter tux at login and then I get tux@slitaz~$. With the other Slitaz options I get a kernel errors. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using a Dell Dimension 2400 with Windows XP SP2, Intel Celeron processor, USB 2.0 and a CRT monitor.

Unetbootin can't install the multi-version 4.0 release see warning and more info here: http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:liveusb?s=unetbootin
Issue installing slitaz to fat32 or ntfs filesystems:
Regular users cannot login to x-session on any version of slitaz running xorg-server when home= partition is formated to fat32 or ntfs filesystem.
This includes all Slitaz-3.0 except xvesa version,Slitaz-4.0 all versions,Cooking, and all future versions of slitaz.
Use ImgBurn to burn/verify the slitaz-4.0.iso to cdr or cdrw and boot off cdrom drive.
If you want to install slitaz to the flash drive:
Applications/ System Tools / GParted Partition Editor
Format flash drive to linux ext3 filesystem.
Applications / System Tools / Create a LiveUSBPosted 12 years ago # -
