I'm trying siltaz-4.0-firefox.iso and can't find tazpanel anywhere except mentioned in the documentation. Not in the "System Tools" menu, link in docs says "Cannot connect to destination (tazpanel)". find / -iname *tazpanel* =nada. Is it not included in the flavors? It seems like it's essential to configure or install, hmm...

Tazpanel should open in your browser.
If it doesn't post the md5sum of the slitaz iso

Tazpanel was not on the firefox iso package-list.
You will have to install it from terminal:
Open terminal,su,password: root while connected to internet.
tazpkg recharge
tazpkg -gi tazpanel
tazpanel start
logout/in
Launch tazpanel with the Red Wrench Icon in the upper left cornerPosted 12 years ago # -
I hope it is now? Thanks much for pointing me in the right direction.
