The SliTaz installer refused to install the operating system on the hardware I was running it on (NEC Versa LitePad). It just kept telling me to check my settings without telling me what the error was.
I decided to perform a manual installation from the live USB environment and copied the content of the rootfs.gz to the internal drive and installed GRUB.
It now boots fine, but the OS is taking up far more disk space than it should, taking 212 MiB of the available 235.3 MiB of the makeshift internal drive I am using.
I am wondering what things are safe to remove from the live USB file system after a manual installation so that I can install the packages I need.
I noticed that some of the system files are exact duplicates of each other when using diff (resource0 and resource0_wc for instance) and take up a lot of space.
Any help would be appreciated.
