Dear All.
I just download justx and firefox flavor of livecd.
I'm attracted by the justx flavor, since basicaly i need a system that just autologin a user and start firefox. It'll be used as a web-based client to Ulteo/eyeOS
I start by re gen-distro justx
I follo the simple step :
- tazlito get-flavor
- tazlito gen-distro
without any major edit, just the host-name and preparer name at the conf file.
I said "Y" when the tazlito ask for re-pack froim rootfs
The generated iso files is Failed to boot (attach it's screenshoot)
I take the other route, now I said "n" when tazlito ask about repack package from rootfs
The generated iso is success to boot in my vbox, but I can not login.
- Login using "root" username and "root" as password --> fail
- Login using "tux" username and "tux" as password --> fail
- Login with empty password --> fail
Again .. I take another root, this time I install justx to my vbox hardisk
add firefox to it, and edit the autostart.sh replacing xterm with firefox for user "tux".
It Work !!!
Questions :
1. When justx installed to HD boot ... it's still have "Decompress Linux" in it's boot sequence, so : How to make it uncompressed permanently ?
I'll use this solution for network boot, so I need it to boot as fast as possible.
2. the livecd version have autologin for user "tux", but the "hardisk version" of it as for username and password, so : How to set it back to autologin mode ?
3. Is there any way to "gen-distro" from existing harddisk-install ?
Sincerely
