All right, I just post somewhere else than pansko thread

It's simple, I want to recompile Xfmedia in order to substitute the Rat logo with something more
like Slitaz present icon theme .

It's not just a question of changing the icon in /usr/share/pixmaps but also the one in dispalyed onto openbox window and lxpanel.

I see in the Xfmedia sources the Rat logo in a folder , so I suppose that this logo is duplicated and hard-coded in the program it self as I cannot reach it in my filesystem

For exemple, these icons exists for Firefox /usr/lib/firefox/chrome/icons/default

hey,

providing you use cooking, as root:

# Download cooking wok tazwok update-wok # Install slitaz toolchain tazpkg get-install slitaz-toolchain # Cook xfmedia tazwok cook xfmedia

You'll need to edit xfmedia recipe; using tazwok the recommended method is to edit it at /home/slitaz/cooking/clean-wok/xfmedia/receipt; then update build wok using:

tazwok update-wok --local

Editing things in the clean wok then update is better since you can then easily push your changes online, using mercurial.

If you need the sources of xfmedia to figure something out simply do:

tazwok get-src xfmedia

You'll find the sources at /home/slitaz/cooking/wok/xfmedia.

WOow , I never notice that was so powerfull

But, unfortunaltly , this is just the icon used for the Xfmedia notification in lxpanel
and used by xfmedia.desktop as well (the launcher in the menu)

I need to reach the one displayed on Openbox and lxpanel task bar .

I will follow Gohklyeah method the week end.
