as was suggested, I created an usb key with ext file system on it (ext4) - created a usb live key with slitaz on board tools and an iso of slitaz4-core.iso from the homepage.
then installed a few apps (deadbeef and mplayer) and changed some appearance settings.
went to tazUSB writefs gzip - created a new rootfs.gz - copied to boot folder - and I get this failed to execute login command.. again. can only login as root..
I remember I could create nice custom cd's or usb keys on 3.0, but I dont get the hang of 4.0.. I literally spent hours on this, and most of the documentation is about 3.0.. please point me to somewhere where I can learn more on this topic.. or any direct advice. thanks.
my task is: boot into live slitaz. install apps I need, change wallpaper, customize rc.xml, have conky and then create and a live usb with installed stuff and changes,so I have a ready to go live system at hand. (also to have i for an installation without internet connection and have the most important programs on the live system)
I can create a new rootfs.gz (with gzip) - put it in place of original rootfs.gz, but I always get failed to execute login..
thanks for help!
