Before the rolling 03.01 and 10.01 releases it was possible to create a customized Live CD that didn't display the language menu but loaded bzimage and rootfs instantly. The isolinux.cfg file I've been using since almost 6 years in 3.0 and now since over 2 years in 5.0 looks like this ...
prompt 0
implicit 0
default slitaz
label slitaz
kernel /boot/bzImage
append initrd=/boot/rootfs.gz rw root=/dev/null lang=en_US kmap=fr-latin1 autologin (in 3.0)
append initrd=/boot/rootfs.gz rw root=/dev/null lang=en_US kmap=fr-latin1 tz=Europe/Paris autologin (in 5.0)
But for some reason (c32box.c32 configuration?) this no longer works as the procedure gets stuck after loading rootfs. This is rotten because it means that those of us who use SliTaz exclusively from a customized Live CD will have to go through the language menu and edit parameters on each boot. Maybe I am overlooking something but after many experiments over the past couple of days I cannot figure out how to overcome this problem. Does anyone have an idea?
Two unrelated issues:
- /etc/lxpanel/default/panels/panel still has "spacefm.desktop" in it
- it would be good if util-linux-eject was already available in rootfs3 so tazlito can use it when run from justx
