In SliTaz 3/4 the unwanted blackouts could be prevented by passing "-dpms" with xserver_arguments in slim.conf. But 5.0 Rolling releases no longer allow passing start-up arguments to Xorg, which also makes it impossible to close the server's tcp port on start-up. I know there's a handy yad frontend for xset on the Live CD which allows to disable the screensaver. But since I'm using justx, where there's neither yad nor xset, I'd much prefer starting Xorg with "-dpms -nolisten tcp" instead of re-configuring it later with xset.
Is there any solution to this problem? ... and if there isn't, can't we at least agree on pre-configuring Xorg with some sane defaults? Maybe we should conduct a poll on the issue ... :-)
