My xrandr output:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 600, maximum 4096 x 4096
LVDS1 connected 1024x600+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 195mm x 113mm
1024x600 60.0*+
800x600 60.3 56.2
640x480 59.9
VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
So I have LVDS1
and VGA1
. But you have only default
(?)
By the way, I have empty /etc/X11/xorg.conf
:
# You can put here your own Xorg configurations. This config file is read
# before all files in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d and will NOT be erased by any
# updates.
Using of xorg.conf is deprecated way to configure Xes. Now all settings are in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/
folder.
Here is my 50-Monitor.conf
(nothing special):
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
ModelName "Monitor Model"
EndSection
Here is my 60-Device.conf
:
Section "Device"

So, you can see that these files are chunks from the old xorg.conf file. Actually I don't know how to help you. Maybe it video driver issue. Please, post me your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/60-Device.conf
