Hello, I am having problems with getting the resolution to save.
I have Nvidia 6500, drivers installed (working and what not)
I ran the whole shibang of commands to actually install the nvidia drivers and install Slim.
I have ran "su...... nvidia-settings" in terminal. Ive deleted and redid the xorg.conf with all the settings... They do save and stay saved in the config file...
what happens, I reboot and I find that the resolution goes back into auto instead of staying in 1024X768. I end up in 1024X1068 or something like that. Anyways... Im curious if there is another file somewhere i might have to edit to get the resolution to stay? I have looked in 60-device file, the hardware, the screen file... Everything seems to be in order... its just annoying the hell out of me every time I reboot and it changes the resolution instead of following the settings I have in the xorg.conf file. Any help would be excellent.
