Greetings,
The SliTaz 5 (rolling) Linux Live-CD is one of few Live-CDs that runs well on older hardware (I have EBOX 3350MX with Pentium-class CPU and 512MB RAM and also HP T5530 with Pentium-class CPU and 128MB RAM -- both don't have PAE and cmov features).
It has also good package management, works nicely on older hardware :-)
I have used YUMI to put several Live-CDs on one USB-flash drive - e.g. TinyCore, Puppy, Lubuntu, ... and also SliTaz 5 (rolling).
What I miss the most in SliTaz is the possibility to save all my changes and installed packages WITHOUT creating a separate PARTITION on USB-flash drive, but using a persistence file - similar to these distros:
# Ubuntu casper-rw
# Puppy warysave-*.2fs / puppexsave-*.2fs
# TinyCore mydata.tgz
My question is: Will this kind of persistence be supported in SliTaz some day?
Thanks,
Oifan
