Hi all,
Why would there not on the Get SliTaz page a zip archive that would allow to windows users to create easily a LiveUSB in only 3 commands (windows cannot do better than SliTaz!)?
- unzip the archive on the stick
- with the terminal of windows, go to the \boot\syslinux repertory of the stick
- make the stick bootable with the syslinux command
Works as well as with FAT 16 or 32; no need to download utilities (windows can unzip, syslinux.exe is in the archive)
Limitations: need to be admin with windows XP (not with win7); no persistance (but possibility to save data on free space of the stick).
What about it?
This would avoid some of getting discouraged and SliTaz would be even more autonomous!
