It's been a couple of weeks I installed slitaz 5 RC on HP Omnibook XE3 (pentium 3, 384mb ram). Everything is fine apart from 'synclient' that doesn't find synaptics driver and "Couldn't find synaptics properties. No synaptics driver loaded?" message appears either running it as simple user or as root.
Touchpad is working fine for moving mouse and buttons below it do left and right click fine. However, and that's why I need synaptics, tap to click doesn't work, neither two-finger scrolling.
Before using slitaz, on wary puppy these features worked so its not hardware limitation. Also slitaz is upgraded to the latest packages.
I'm not a synaptics expert and since xorg.conf has been changed its scheme over the past years support that I find in old threads many times is simply outdated. So I'm uploading the 4 files in xorg.conf.d and Xorg.0.log
Any help would be much appreciated cause I need these features so much.
