   I am trying to get an extended display working using xrandr but it only recognizes one monitor. Both monitors connected to the same video card (Radeon HD 5450). Right now both works but just mirrored.

   tux@slitaz:~$ xrandr

   "lspci -k" shows radeon as the driver being used for the card. So I tried creating my own device, monitor, screen and serverlayout configurations and placed them under "/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d" folder and used radeon as the driver but what I get everytime based on "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" file is "can't find radeon", "unloading radeon", "no screens found".

   What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

   I am using the latest rolling by the way. Been testing it for just a couple of days and so far no issue. You guys did a great job.

   Okay. I add a "File" configuration and direct the module path to "/usr/lib/X11/modules/drivers" and that took care of the driver not being found. It did gave me however another error though and my rookie guess would be that the driver doesn't support my card? From the log file, it only listed as high as HD4870 and then gave me this error:

   My last post was using radeonhd as the driver. Changing the driver to either "ati" or "radeon". I get this result:

   Was searching for an answer and found this. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/799069 ...They think it's a bug between plymouth and lightdm processes fighting over the console

   Got it to work! I added all the folders under /usr/lib/X11/modules on my file configuration and it did the trick. Not sure which one made it work though.
