New here and just above basic Linux experience.
I've played with SliTaz 3.0 for some months on various old pcs. I now run my little personal website on a HP T5000 thin client using Lighttpd, x11vnc, and it's been faultless.
Specs are 1GHZ Transmeta Crusoe TM5800, 512MB ram, ATI Rage XL video chip, also a 44pin adapter to a cf card holder with 4GB card. These thin clients are around 10 years old.
When I originally installed it I used a 17" crt monitor, now when I try and install using a lcd monitor, I get the HP POST then a blank screen. I've installed using the crt, then installed lxrandr, played with the settings, reconnected the lcd and it's ok.
But it's a pain doing it that way, is there a way to get the thin client and lcd to play nicely out of the box?
BTW the original XPe on 256 MB flash memory is fine with the lcd monitor.
