Hi
Since a few days, my wife did get the old MacBook of our son. Else it is old, it is a lot better as our actual PCs (DELL Optiplex SX280 with Pentium4 and only 1,8 GB RAM) so that she will continue to use it... Parallel, I did install SliTaz64 weeks ago on my laptop (it the reason why son did think about to give is old laptop to his mother!) and I am happy with it: all works properly until yet (excepted that the function copy buffer hitting on the middle mouse key if a mouse is connected will not work). So I think about the use of SliTaz on the MacBook. On the other point of view, my wife is actually happy to use MacOS and it would be better for me, she would only port the applications of SliTaz what she likes into MacOS: As MacOS is installed in the EFI partitions system and I am not accostumed to operate in that system I am absolutely not knowing, I would avoid to destroy eventually an about good system only to try to make something not veru usual...
Did some one try to do somewhat equivalent and what is to do / to avoid?
Especially I am not certain if in SliTaz64 all applications are really 64 bit applications?
I suppose not?
Is the use of 32 bit applications possible in MacOS?
Can MacOS display directly conventional linux 32 bit applications in somewhat like X11?
Kind regards
how to run SliTaz applications on MacBook
