I used YUMI to create a bootable Live Slitaz 3.0 USB flash drive (which i'll call the "source"), then booted from it and attempted installing Slitaz onto another flash drive (i'll call this the "target") using Slitaz's installer. While running the live Slitaz, i had to download another slitaz-3.0.iso and mount because the installer couldn't find the rootfs.gz file. Using Slitaz's GParted tool, created three partitions on the target flash drive -- one to house Slitaz (about 100MB), one to house files to open in Slitaz (about 150MB), and another one for my Windows files. I then ran the installer, setting /home to be the 150MB partition.
I installed Slitaz several times, wiping the disk in between attempts. I tried this both with and without installing GRUB. When i did it without GRUB, the booting process stopped immediately, exiting with a two-digit error message (different each time). When i booted with GRUB, it would load for a few seconds before panicking, saying my root= parameter was invalid. No amount of changing this parameter helped at all. What is going on here, and how do i fix this?
P.S. The text generated by the panic mentioned an init= parameter. I've looked for what this means, but i've had no luck...
