Hi guys, firstly just a big thank you to all who developed slitaz as I'm having great fun playing with the new distro.
I'm having a little trouble with a live USB installation in that I can't enable the writefs saving upon logout. I do not have any of the save options available on the menu??
I have tried to use the tazusb writefs command and it appears to save the new rootfs to the USB media, some settings appear to be saved i.e auto save root password for su tasks. But locales aren't saved and neither are the ethernet settings. On my USB stick I have tux showing as home directory. the kernel image used shows the UUID of my USB media as home as does extlinux.conf.
I started to wonder whether it may be the media so I tried another USB stick and additionally an SD Card which were all exactly the same. Both were pre formatted to ext 3 using gparted before tazusb installation gen-liveusb. Finally I disabled all removable media and HDD's in BIOS to ensure only Sda1 could be used, but still no luck.
Am I missing something here, could this be a hardware issue?
