I am still working on getting the 'adaptation-pc' kernel to co-exist with slitaz. It looks to me as if, when the 'adaptation-pc' kernel puts in its /dev/fb0 with the fancy stuff intended for fbdev_drv.so, it interferes with the gizmo in the slitaz startup scripts that makes the series of fake /dev/fb1 /dev/fb2, etc. nodes. And, it is really suspicious of any kernel that adds a /dev/dri node to the /dev/directory, although some fictitious "kernel module" could be assumed to have done this.
Why would inserting my own /dev/fb0 cause slitaz to crash?
Is there a way around this?
