Well, that is just a success story.. ;) my friend had an issue, with his laptop he couldnt get internet via wifi on some ap.. eg. he could get it ok at home, but not at work..the symptoms: vista, ar5007eg, wpa auth ok, dhcp ip ok, ping gateway fail, arp request fail.. we checked viruses, uninstalled antivirus, disabled firewall, reinstalled driver, nothing worked.. hardware damage? buy new card? but wait, lets check what Slitaz says.. guess what, in Slitaz all worked nice! :) so it must be a vista problem, corrupt driver maybe? you guess right, from Slitaz we downloaded the latest wifi drivers for vista, reboot in vista, update new driver - problem solved :)
