thinking of going slitaz

this is like the 10th time i will be attempting to install slitaz
the first thing i always bump into is installing my ati drivers and changing the resolution
i have a ati 5145 card, i may need to use the proprietary drivers or something
i found this thread

there is a nice guide, but checking the ati radeon wiki http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/ATIRadeon it appears that my videocard is unsupported
any help would be appreciated?
