Hi paseo,
It depends how you did your Live stick.
If you've formated the stick ext 2/3/4, your preferences will be automatically saved in your /home.
Otherwise, format another stick and create Live with the tazusb tool.
If you need more help, tell me what ISO you used for your Live.Posted 8 years ago # -
hi ceel
i create the live stick with a integrated tool of linux mind and with a iso slitaz-cooking.iso 41,9 Mb
was this wrong ?Posted 8 years ago # -
i formated a new stick with ext 4 with linux mind and try to create a live stick with my iso file and taz usb box to /dev/sda1. but the stick is empty ( only lost and found) no live system on the new stick.

If you use cooking, sda1 should be your hard disk...
Boot your Live USB. Then remove the stick.
Download the ISO (cooking is near 2 years old now, last rolling will be better: http://mirror1.slitaz.org/iso/rolling/slitaz-rolling-core.iso)
Open a terminal and become root. Insert your formated ext4 stick and see how it is identified:
fdisk -l
Assuming your target stick is sdb1, then type:
tazusb gen-iso2usb /path/to/the/iso/file/file_name.iso /dev/sdb1

Ceel, the closing bracket superfluous.

Tazusb program does not offer at the ext4 formatting. Why?
Installed version tazusb 182.

Thank you, Bellard. I already asked, but forgot to answer. What do I need to do to make a change in my tazusb?
And another question to all. Who ever get to save the changes with the new version tazusb? I could not even once in a day. Of the more than 20 attempts. Why is this happening?

Что конкретно с tazusb не так?
Вижу на скриншоте gzip-сжатие rootfs. Это очень плохая идея, лучше lzma или вообще без сжатия.

Do not save changes. After this operation to /boot must have two files rootfs.gz and previous.gz. But even without this, after the restart it shows that there are no changes. A method of compression is not important.
PS
I apologize. We had to pour and insert the USB flash drive again. I disassemble.Posted 8 years ago # -
