Re: File transfer to Nexus 7 (2012)

That is good to hear TraceE is sorted out as this was their thread.

So back to me, I have just installed gnomad2 onto my rolling, and I can copy from my Zen.

Just trying to upload to it now. Damned if it didn't work. I have just uploaded a Black Sabbath album. smile

At least it looks like it, will have to unplug and check.

That's brilliant, I had just about given up on this MP3 player.

Thankyou Aleksej. smile

Re: File transfer to Nexus 7 (2012)

Black Sabbath = nice ..... u can't beat a bit of Ozzy! .... smile

Just tried to make a new live CD with gMTP installed and it seems to have missed this and all the other settings I have made and won't start ... sad

What is Interactive Mode ? ... that's where it gets stuck every time now.

Re: File transfer to Nexus 7 (2012)

Went back to my customised 4.0 stable which has better youtube video performance and it works perfectly in that too ... smile

Don't know what one of those is, but if it is an mp3 player or similar, take a look at gnomad2 for transferring files that need mtp, works for me with a Creative Zen Touch.

Re: File transfer to Nexus 7 (2012)

The Nexus had to be rooted for it to work ..... so if your motorola is an android device make sure its rooted first.

Nexus 7 works great with gMTP ...... smile

Re: File transfer to Nexus 7 (2012)

Needed to download photos from Motorola Razr D1 (via USB MTP protocol) to SliTaz 4.0.

gMTP worked very well, either way, download and upload.

Great contribution.
