Xterm is plain jane,sakura has copy/paste, scroll bar,tabs,etc..

ipw2200: Unable to load firmware: -2

the ipw2200 firmware is not present during boot

either you install slitaz to the hard disk, or if you boot from usb stick, you have to run tazusb to get an image, after the firmware is stored. otherwise you have to run all the commands each time you boot

save the firmware, install it and run

root@slitaz:/home/tux#

Type

modprobe -r ipw2200 ; modprobe ipw2200

Hit Enter key

until dmesg looks like this

Installed SliTaz on HD>installed ipw2200&rfkill>connections showed on success! Thank you mojo and kultex!

More over, I'm gonna let you know this: when connected to wi-fi the network connection icon remain the two unattached cables with the red X. Also, I clicked on the empty space where was supposed to be the list of wi-fi connections, and only then, I don't remember if the very next time I opened Wifi configuration menu, connections showed. Is this "showing-only-after-you-touch-here" a thing? Just curious. Thank you again.

thats not normal.... - at least in rolling, what I use..

and if you use wifi permenent, you should configure /etc/network.conf as described here

then you dont need the wifi box
