Holy Toledo!   I finally got it!  2 things I did differently....1st, used a different USB.  2nd, when I got the Unetbootin screen, I tried "default", which I didn't realize was an option.  I thought that screen (which I had gotten a couple of times during my many tries) meant it hadn't loaded right.  Okay!  Thank you so much!  I am  going to go play now.  How should I close this ticket?

You may just scroll to the top, look for "This topic is * not resolved", select "resolved" from the drop-down box, and click on the "Update Status »" button
