Infact [c]cp -arfl[/c] break system, i don't see it when test last week, system upgrade not all packages.
for fuse2, invalid inter-link to create /dev/fuse, for slitaz-base-files same that drop many nodes in /dev (tty{1-9}, ...)
In case [c]cp -rfl[/c] it's safe for hard link for package himself, but not solve twice space used when you do copy [c]/tmp/{package}/fs[/c] inside [c]{root}[/c]
Need to continue investigate to optimize

it's just my experience, and by that I don't want to offend those who have knowledge in computer science like you. cmq I happened to have problems with symlinks working on fs like ntfs and similar. Since then I only perform compilations on fs like ext3.

, in my case it's due of differents fs (devpts for /dev and tmpfs or ext4 for /).
For friend of my brother, need to help him on old middle computer (i3 2c/4t with 4Go ddr3, video card integrated), because need work with Office, i try Ubuntu mate, xubuntu variant, seem too slow for me ~2mns for boot and display desktop. And desktop experience not smooth for me.
I try SliTaz current, ~25/30s boot + desktop ready
.
Because i don't have wine on it, i compile and install it (use current 32 for wine), follow ubuntu doc for Office install with wine / winetricks, work as expected 
Also another think i see Firefox 128.9.0esr work as expected on current32, if remember blocked version to 102.15.1esr because recent version not work.

Hi,
Until now, for current iso, at least 64 bits version, tazinst not work, it's use grub legacy.
I fix it but work in progress, infact we have RAM rescue option, for webboot ipxe not work with grub but ok with syslinux, for dual boot with windows, i continue to work on it for add right entry on grub2 if checked on installer.
Also notice, now tazinst required that disk use GPT table else partitions not see on installer (maybe need rework list_uuid function).
Because both grub2/grub2-efi-x64 installed on iso, increase size.
slitaz-current64-base64 ~19.4M vs ~32.7M with grub2
slitaz-current64-core64 ~96M vs ~109.2M with grub2
I push isos on https://people.slitaz.org/~shann/slitaz-current64-stuff with suffix "-grub2".
Other side effect, it's that implied boot live need 1Go of memory to boot, i'm not very happy with that 
Current has moved away from SliTaz's goal of running on modest configs.
Another points i want to work for daily usage
- Android mtp support (gmtp do job but we don't have automount with pcmanfm)
- Wifi in case on nomad mode, reconnect to save network
- Printers support for easy plug and play

I rebuild kernel to improve support of Winpad V10, when finish check to rebuild iso and add libglvnd as dep for xorg-server.
After that, need to check for bump glibc to 2.30, in other thread user report would like use Spotify client, unfortunately not work on rolling, seem same for current64 due of glibc version.
What i say on ABI, 6 new symbol added, i know remain old, released on 2019.

glibc 2.32 build and seem work, but when try on qemu to replace 2.28, issue with libpthread symbol, need to test if same issue with override libc on eeepc.

Test on EeePC, seem not work correctly.
[c]/etc/init.d/rcS[/c] not work, few commands generate segfault, in case mount command from util-linux failed, but if use busybox applet, it's work, but slim failed, xorg and think many others.

Hi,
I finish mass rebuild with glibc 2.31, all work as expected.
Fix minus issues, slitaz-tools-boxes, infact fetch yad-gtk3 instead respect yad provide with yad-gtk2. And another fix it's for slitaz-configs that reset /etc/xdg/openbox/menu.xml to menu.en.xml and not respect locale user choice, now we save previous symlink and restore it.
For moment i can't upgrade glibc when i try to bump to 2.32,2.33,2.34 make binary "segfault"
.
Need to read glibc NEWS and how can upgrade it.

I need to investigate to fix bug i found with android device, my search seem indicate that related to udev.
Infact when plug android device, pcmanfm try to automount disk, and when allow share through usb, twice device appear.
Also i just came back of friend's parents, i'm donate old workstation with SliTaz Currrent64.
Seem issue happen sometime, session not load sucessfully, only lxpanel run or only openbox.
If stop and start pc it's work correctly (for moment).
Pentium G630 (2c), 4G DDR3, and 300Go of hard disk.
i don't see log, dmesg that indicate segfault or issue on disk.
Need to test on my dell x300 (pentium M, 1c) if i reproduce issue.
Sad because when i test few weeks before donate, it's work perfectly, i don't notice issue same when i configure it last week.
My brother run current64 since few months as multimedia station on asus laptop, never issues.
On Dell X300, it's same stack except 32 bits and don't use glibc 2.31.
Bug parent's report and i see also it's before i'm doing updates (include switch to glibc 2.31).
Don't think it's processor issue, pentium G630 have 2 cores vs pentium M have single core.
Also, lxpanel is on bottom instead edge, but don't think related, yesterday when call me to report bug, i'm doing fews tests on qemu with lxpanel at the bottom, disconnect,reconnect,reboot nothing issue with desktop load.
On my dell x300, i doing updated for kernel 5.10.238, except minus few 2-3 seconds to have desktop full load, don't notice issues, panel it's on edge not bottom.
I know in the past we have issue with panel on bottom, but don't think it's same ?

- pcmanfm popup, don't click anythink
- i select "usb transfert" ,popup and old mount mtp/phone disappear
- new popup to open device on pcmanfm
Devices are available without double/{n} devices tree.
When i click to umount device mtp device disappear and remain "redmi note", if i disconnect usb cable, disappear on pcmanfm.
In case seem good way.

I do retest on current in EeePC.
For libgvfs-daemon issue, seem related to my mistake when i test udev patched, forget to install gvfs rebuild locally with udev patched.
Need more investigate for debug segfault, but at least no impact on other disk device, segfault only appear for mtp device.
segfault for libgobject indicate issue on glib library, but only happen when open file on mtp device.
think issue with gvfs / libmtp / glib, but at moment hard to found root cause.

When i try to search details about segfault with gvfs-mtp, i found this link about gvfs-mtp 1.32

I check to upgrade gvfs infact gvfs keep at 1.22.1 but other packages upgraded i think glib to 2.70 and gobject-introspection 1.70.
Infact with gvfs 1.36.2, i see that on next Aleksej use this version because 1.38.1 need more depends and huge polkit
With gvfs/pcmanfm rebuild, i test package on my EeePC.
- upgrade gvfs,gvfs-fuse,gvfs-libmtp,gvfs-udisks2
- kill udevd and reload it
- do test with my android phone.
=> Open file with pcmanfm, i can navigate and display pictures without segfault.
=> Now when try to disconnect device with pcmanfm, segfault on libpthread-2.31 
If i disable share from android device, popup again appear for usb device.
To resume, with gvfs 1.36.2, issue with open file dissapear, udev patched we don't have issue with ghost devices.
Remain issue when disconnect device with pcmanfm generate segfault now on libpthread instead libusb.

I build iso to test out of box experience with android device, seem not work as expected, seem device connected but nothing pop-up appear.
Boot again on kernel / rootfs :
- Install my stuff for wifi (broadcom-wl64)
- Get packages from my local cook env (libusb, libmtp, gvfs, gvfs-libmtp, gvfs-fuse, gvfs-udisks2, libgudev, udev)
- Install packages
- Copy 51-android.rules

Instead use live usb, i installed slitaz current64 on other eeepc.
To ensure sanity, i sync packages from my cook env and update mirror to point /root/packages.
Install gvfs-libmtp, copy 51-android.rules on /etc/udev/rules.d, and reboot.
Work as expected for autodectect (first automount and remount with access when switch mode on device), navigate images on device with gpicviewer work without segfault.
Remain issue with libpthread-2.31.so when disconnect from pcmanfm, continue to debug it.

Hi, I admire your efforts. Out of curiosity have you tried with libc 2.34?
I recently upgraded in my system and it was digested without any problems.

Not really understand, happen some link i read talk about lto, other gcc.
Diff i see you use gcc 10.2.0, on my stack toolchain is binutils 2.37, gcc 8.3.0, glibc 2.31, linux api 5.10.238.
Maybe need to switch more recent gcc version ?

In case seem really strange
On my current64_glibc233 env :
With gcc 8.3.0, glibc 2.34 build but nothing seem work "always segfault"
With gcc 10.2.0, glibc 2.34 build, chroot seem partially work, infact make do segfault.
