еще немного дополнительной информации:

компьютер - lenovo S10-2

модем - huavei E1550 куплен в МТС (разлочен под других сотовых операторов)

провайдер - Мегафон

Вроде без косяков.

По скринам - модем определяется нормально и отвечает на команды. Вопрос только в настройках APN и пароль/логин. Всё что могу посоветовать - звякнуть оператору, вызнать их и прописать.

А чем плох метод описанный здесь - http://doc.slitaz.org/ru:guides:dialup )) ? У меня все отлично настроилось, модем E1820 мегафон, единственное пришлось перевести модем в режим "только модем", поскольку он иначе не обнаруживался.

вот что пишет система в ответ на tazhw setup 3g-modem

вот бы добавить в slitaz классную прогу под названием NetworkManager

только как это сделать?
