Re: SliTaz 5 (?)

It's been at busybox 1.21.1 for about 5 months. Maybe you altered yours, which means mercurial expects a merge rather than an update.

Re: SliTaz 5 (?)

Hi,

thanks ergo for create wok-backports repository,

I start with firefox last version

Firefox 26.0 (Binary version from mozilla website), work out of box.

NB: Firefox need that plugins should be installed in "/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins"

I would inspirate by receipt include in wok for build this release.

I don't have access on wok-backports.

Ergo, can you give me grant permission ? thanks

Re: SliTaz 5 (?)

last winter I had a build environment, where I could cook packages and cook the kernel, but I did not get out all the different linux packages - all those things like linux-acpi.tazpkg etc. was empty

In Summer, where I had absolute no time, it seemed to work - Arun and Kapil compiled the kernel I am using in my testing iso and Arun wrote a howto http://oldpapyrus.wordpress.com/2013/08/17/quick-guide-to-start-cooking-slitaz-packages/

now it seems to be again broken or I am absolut to stupid - so I opend an extra thread

Re: SliTaz 5 (?)

Shouldn't matter so much for now. Let's just get a working system, then we can customize it with other Desktop Enviroment flavours.

Re: SliTaz 5 (?)

@moulrfrite just to understand. whats wrong with spacefm

I mean, it can compress and uncompress 7zip, xz etc. (right klick on a file - New - Archive) - its until now not working in SliTaz, but it is possible, so we dont need an archiver

built in backuptool (when fsarchiver or partimage are installed) for drives and MBR

command line usage

plugins (eg dropbox, ClamAV Scan, trash plugin, GPG Tools, PDF Tools Plugin, GUI burning app)

extremly secure because of a lot of options easy configured in  /etc/spacefm/spacefm.conf

Re: SliTaz 5 (?)

it's probably useful but not nooby-friendly and it didn't refresh quicky when resizing.

Pcmanfm melts more , thanks it's pure design and it's lightness, in a view of a light and simple OS like Slitaz. Pcmanfm does (un)compression too with right-click but seems limited to some formats ; winrar and zip should be included by default too in the right-click.
