You had a long and hard night yesterday...
Don't worry about the memory, 4 GB is more than enough.
UNetbootin does not work from windows for SliTaz but I believe it's OK from linux. You can try if you want; download it at http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/unetbootin-linux-latest
And use the slitaz-4.0-core.iso

Thank you, Ceel.
It was a brutal night.
A friend me mine told me to go into my BIOS and change my boot order, and try reinstalling Windows again from my CD -- since we don't know how clean my actual Manjaro Linux installation was. (I had forgotten I had changed my boot order.)
I did lose Windows 7 permanently, and I'm right now in the process of re-installing 8.
I guess as far as we're concerned, we're back to normal.
I have 6.00 GB of RAM, 5.88 which is usable, so I have more than enough as you say.
I just don't know what to do next. Step 2 : cp /etc/slitaz/applications.conf /home/tux/.config/slitaz/
is the place that I can't seem to get beyond here.
Still I'm now determined to put Slitaz on a flash drive, if it is indeed possible on my computer. We've both worked too hard not to succeed now!

Hello Ceel,
I know I've been very scattered lately , changing operating systems rapidly, and seemingly having no focus at all. Therefore I want to take a moment to personally thank you for taking the time to help me put SliTaz on a flash drive -- not such easy task for me as we can see.
I don't usually have so many problems with an installation, but I can happen at times.
Ceel, you've been very helpful and patient with me, and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your time, effort, knowledge, and help.
When the next version of SliTaz appears, I plan to back at the forum -- and writing from installed version of SliTaz 5 via a flash drive!
Ceel, Slitaz forum is fortunate to have you. You're an excellent moderator.
All the best to you,
perknh
