Hi folks, I'm new to slitaz but not to linux you can say that I'm a semi-newbie
yesterday I installed Slitaz 3.0 but since it uses kernel version 2.6.30.6, my wireless adapter is not supported, the driver is called ath9k_htc .
I compiled ath9k_htc before on puppy linux and worked with full performance, but I didn't like puppy so I installed slitaz instead, I really like it so I tried to install my wireless driver, here is what I did :
I downloaded compat-wireless-2012-02-06.tar.bz2
I downloaded the non-free firmware htc_9271.fw to /lib/firmware
I installed bash-4.0.tazpkg / gcc-4.4.1.tazpkg / make-3.81.tazpkg / perl-5.10.0.tazpkg / linux-headers-2.6.30.6.tazpkg / linux-source-2.6.30.6.tazpkg as root usind [ tazpkg install ******.tazpkg ]
I untared the compat-wireless and cd to the the folder then I taped [ ./scripts/driver-select ath9k_htc ] everything was fine so far but when I typed [ make ] I got this error :
Make [1] *** no rule to make target <<modules>>. stop
NB: I got the same error when I tried to compile the driver on puppy but I resolved it by installing the patched kernel source.
do I miss anything here ?
I attached a screenshot, the error is in french but I translated it above .
thanks !
