In other distro, we can remove or purge old kernel packages to save hdd space. I wonder how can it be done here in Slitaz?
Thank you.

There is no provision in the slitaz package system for tracking more than one kernel version on the system.
When a package is updated tazpkg get-install --forced
is used.
Generally what is not overwritten by the new package has to be removed by the user.
There are exceptions to this with protected config files which are not overwritten.
The kernel version is never changed on stable.
Since Cooking Pre-5.0 was released May 2012 the kernel version which started at 3.2.14 has only been upgraded twice to 3.2.40 followed by 3.2.53 where it is now.
