it depens on how you use SliTaz -
SliTaz installation:
you take either the32bit deb or rpm Version and convert it with
tazpkg convert
and install it with tazpkg install
but you can use also the tgz version
SliTAz frugal:
take the tgz and install it to home -

Incredible this Office suite!!! :)
I hardly find a point where it's NOT better than Libre or Open office .
Just perheaps the appearence which would be better if it comes with a gtk integration.
At last, we have something which is not to bad to cop with complexe .docxA .tazpkg would be a wonderful idea

I installed successfully Softmaker Office 2008, I like this software even if it is not libre because it is very light and works with less than 96 MB of RAM in Windows as in Linux, it weighs less than 150 MB already installed.
I downloaded the package for Linux: with extension tar.gz (or something) and at the end of download it I opened it normally and installed and ran.
This software is only free is registered with a name and email address and you send the code number to your email, I did it 3 days ago.

Even this will generate a lot of debate, I suggest that this office to be included by default in Slitaz5 along with QtWeb.
Let's make from Slitaz5 the release with all neccesary tools for any Linux begginer.Regards,
