Hello everybody,
I would very much like to have SliTaz (either 4.0 or 5.0 - doesn't matter in my special case) working with x2goclient (e.g. http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/download:start).
I tried the following way on both (4.0 / 5.0) installed to a Virtual Machine in Virtualbox:
- download the x2goclient.deb package.
- tazpkg convert the .deb file - worked like a charm, no error messages
- tazpkg install the package file - worked like a charm, no error messages, x2goclient in Internet Menu - like I know it from countless installations on Ubuntu)
- try to start it - nothing happens ...
Then I moved into the bin-directory and tried to start it (as root and as tux) "direct" and get the following messages:
tux@slitaz:/usr/bin$ ./x2goclient
./x2goclient: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found (required by ./x2goclient)
./x2goclient: /usr/lib/libldap_r-2.4.so.2: no version information available (required by ./x2goclient)
Has somebody a hint / way for me to overcome this problem?
Is the .deb package the correct starting point? They have x2goclient for the mainly distributions ( Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu GNU/Linux, SUSE-based, Fedora-based, RedHat-based (EPEL)) - but I personal only have some experience with Ubuntu ...
Why this is so interesting? - Because I would like to have a personal adjusted SliTaz in a / as the chroot of a PXE-Server for thin clients. But on the clients I must be able to start x2goclient to connect to the application server ...
Thanks for any help ...
