Hi Linux Forever,
First, here is typo in the package name. You wrote "libboost-chronos" while package name is "libboost-chrono" (without "s").
Second, you did not say which SliTaz version you use. Is it 4.0 or Rolling? I hope it's Rolling.
Third, judging from the errors:
/usr/libexec/tazpkg/install: line 12: title: not found /usr/libexec/tazpkg/install: line 12: _p: not found /usr/libexec/tazpkg/install: line 12: footer: not found /usr/libexec/tazpkg/install: line 12: title: not found
you have contemporary package "tazpkg" and legacy package "slitaz-base-files". Please, update it (if you don't know how to do it, just ask ;)
Don't forget: sometimes it may appear new packages, such as, libboost-chrono. Some packages may get a new version. You should periodically update your package database with the command:
tazpkg recharge
(as root super user.)Posted 9 years ago # -

Sorry about the typo.

Looks like you're missing file /lib/libtaz.sh. You can try downloading it here http://hg.slitaz.org/slitaz-base-files/raw-file/af25e2951d08/rootfs/lib/libtaz.sh and putting it in /lib. Then retry tazpkg recharge, tazpkg -gi slitaz-base-files, and mojo's commands.

To see if GLX works, install package "mesa-demos" and run command "glxgears".

Hi mojo,
blender.desktop didn't show on my menu after install/reboot.
blender.desktop checks with no errors using desktop-file-validate.Sorry, this package is giant for my small system, I can't test it's installation.
I just download one file:
ftp://cook.slitaz.org/blender/taz/blender-2.75a/fs/usr/share/applications/blender.desktop
And put it using hands into my /usr/share/applications/, and it shows under Applications Menu / Graphics. Nothing more needed.Maybe, I'll try to "install" it in the Live CD mode (if my 1GB of RAM will be enough).
Other strange thing in the /usr/bin/blender script:
#!/bin/sh if [ ! -d $HOME/.blender ]; then cp -r /usr/share/blender $HOME/.blender fi exec blender-bin
It copied 45'215 KB of files into your home folder before starting. For what? Terribleā¦

Hi Linux Forever,
Seems you need to install proper Xorg video driver at first.
IIRC you can use next command (as root, and with internet connection up and running):
tazx install-xorg
(and, seems, also from pure console, not from terminal, but I could be wrong.)Posted 9 years ago # -

If you know that you have an Intel video card, then choose "Intel" and so on... Otherwise try "auto". Option "vesa" will install you very light and very dumb video driver incompatible with the game emulators and 3D software.
Posted 9 years ago # -
So I chose auto (because I don't know how to check my video card) and after installing some xorg-driver intel things I ran blender.Nothing happend so I ran it from terminal and it shows me this :
Color management: using fallback mode for management
AL lib: (EE) ALCplaybackOSS_open: Could not open /dev/dsp: No such file or directory
/home/slitaz/wok/blender/source/blender-2.75a/intern/ghost/intern/GHOST_WindowX11.cpp:179: X11 glXQueryVersion() failed, verify working openGL system!
initial window could not find the GLX extension
Writing: /tmp/blender.crash.txt
Segmentation faultI have somethings to say :
/home/slitaz/wok
there's no /home/slitaz it's /home/West !!!ther's not even a hidden folder called /home/slitaz !!!
and that /tmp/blender.crash.txt says
