Regarding http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/4.0/slitaz-4.0.iso I had two unexpected problems:
1. resolution change only works on a flat monitor, not on crt.
and it takes effect upon terminal only if the terminal is already open and there is at least one terminal in which at least one character has been already typed in.
2. the network interface is not configured automatically through dhcp. i have to bring down the wrong interface and bring up the right one, and then i have to manually configure the address, the route and the dns, in spite of the available dhcp. if i have only one network card, then i just have to configure it manually. (i did not try combinations of these commands, but configuring the address alone is not enough.)
also, i could not access my local hard drive, because of uefi. the info about the network interface connection was on it, and either the tools to access it were not included in the install kit, or i just am not up to the task.
I am posting this only because I believe that most people who use a small and powerfull live linux would consider these functionalities highly desirable.
However, if you can give me a hint on how to mount an UEFI partition in slitaz live with no network connection (or even with a network connection), that would be most welcomed.
Final note: there are two "Notify me of follow-up posts via email" check boxes right under this textbox?! I will check the first one only.
