Empty screen at boot time

Hello,

I tested Slitaz-5.0 64 with a live CD. As the result convinced me, I decided to install it of the hard disk using the TazPanel installer.

I chose a double boot Linux/Windows, the Linux part being store onto 3 partitions /dev/sda6 for the system /dev/sda7 for /home and /dev/sda5 for the swap.

When rebooting, the first steps seem OK but when the screen manager is involved (startX ?) then the screen remains black...

My laptop computer is a Dell Latitude 820 with a screen definition of 1920x1200

Check you menu.lst file (in sda6/boot/?) for home=/dev/sda7
If "kernel" line already contains home=/dev/sda7 ,try to add some video= option:

video=1920x1200

nouveau kernel module may autoswitch to external, so try also this:

video=LVDS-1:1920x1200 video=VGA-0:d video=VGA-1:d

There is no home in the kernel line, nor /dev/sda7

I tried, when booting, to change the instructions but without success

Where do I put video=1920x1200 ? At the end of the kernel line ? This one ends by "quiet". Before that last keyword ?

Changing menu.lst is mess : I need to boot from the live CD because my computer does not boot anymore...
