Hi,
here, you can find firefox 77 with locale https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/77.0/linux-i686/pt-BR/
The file is tar.bz2 format.
But I haven't tried it.
Friendly.

Two years ago Aleksej Bobylev has warned not to update firefox to newer versions than 77,
because these need a more recent version of glibc than 2.14.1,
which is supplied with SliTaz 5.0 rolling. (forum post-49208)
So my comment in the recipes for firefox-official, that 77 is the last 32 bit version
is misleading:
It is not the last 32 bit version, but the last version, that works with glibc-2.14.1Posted 2 years ago # -
thanks for returning the 77 but still no sound in the media. How can I correct that?

This post is being made on 77 of Slitazrc5in and everything works. Minus the sound of the videos. I have been fond of slitaz for years since 2.0. I just need a browser that works fine. To this day I have custom 4.0 on my Samsung Intel Atom notebook. It also needs a working browser. Neither Midore nor Firefox will update on it.

@Arthur The sound of the videos must work with apulse or pulseaudio. See this post
https://forum.slitaz.org/topic/firefox-70-broken-with-pulseaudio#post-48128@HGT That's right, the problem is glibc-2.14. That was already discussed a couple of years ago here. The difficult question is to update glibc

Hi rerivero,
Infact i begin stuff of upgrade toolchain, glibc.
It's ask a lot of time to have working version, at time i have minimal version of 4.0 with xorg (it's in progress), with summer, i paused with work, reduce team, pass time with my niece and family.Time to continue my stuff, also think about use cooking, upgrade them and prepare stable from them.

@shann Hi shann, it's good and encouraging to know that some people are taking care of SliTaz to keep the project running and not outdated.
Best regards

tazpkg -gi apulse
sed -i 's/Exec=firefox-official %u/Exec=\/usr\/bin\/apulse firefox-official %u/' /usr/share/applications/firefox-official.desktop.
I already have sound. This apulse post was "beauty"Posted 2 years ago # -
@shann Mail me or call me on phone if you need help about updating the toolchain, all the tools are ther and many stuff can be automated.

Hi pankso,
Nice to see you here, i hope you fine :).
If need help, i will not missed contact you, in case with tools and local cooker, it's "easier" to update toolchain, modulous patchs, versions backward compat for glibc.
I continue my work for update toolchain on cooking, and i think create new hg repo for push my stuff.
Regards
