I'd like to update the following documentations:
http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:frugal#frugal-install-to-microsoft-windows-partition
- I've tested this with Windows XP, FAT32
- downloaded the latest version of Grub4dos
- copied grldr from the archive to HD root
- added the entry
C:\grldr="SliTaz, frugal mode"
at the end of C:\boot.ini - created menu.lst on HD root
- create a boot entry:
- then set boot parameters:
- copy grldr.mbr to C:\ (or wherever your boot drive is)
- copy grldr and create menu.lst to the root directory
Worked fine. Can someone test it with Windows 2000 and NT and confirm if it works or not and precising type partition?
For Windows Vista, 7 and 8, this should work:
bcdedit /create /d "GRUB for DOS" /application bootsector
should return something like this:
The entry {05d33150-3fde-11dc-a457-00021cf82fb0} was successfully created
bcdedit /set {id} device boot
bcdedit /set {id} path \grldr.mbr
bcdedit /displayorder {id} /addlast
where {id} is the string returned from first command
Unfortunately I'm not admin on my professional Lifebook and I can't check it. Same question...
Thanks in advance

- Links http://download.tuxfamily.org/slitaz/boot/cooking/bzImage and http://download.tuxfamily.org/slitaz/boot/cooking/rootfs.gz are old.
How to do to update them?
If not possible, I can replace them explaining how to extract bzImage and rootfs.gz from iso file.
