I'll nip this in the butt before others wonder or complain about it: I added an asound.conf to the alsa-lib package. This change has been commited and should filter it's way to the SliTaz repository eventually. Then it's just a tazpkg up command away from being on your system.
Why did I make this change, you ask? To implement software mixing for audio streams. Simply put: More than one program can now use your sound card at the same time.
So why the warning? This might not work perfectly for everybody. You may have to unmute channels in alsamixer or tell a program to use the default sound device to make it all work well together. This is more just to let you know what's going on in case you're one of the unlucky ones.
