Hi! I am using Slitaz 5.0 rolling Core ISO. My friend is using Windows 7 on a same network connection over LAN and using a router. Can we use our Linux terminal and Windows CMD together? How can we communicate each other? Please advice.

Most refer to sambacliient, telnet, netcat (NC), Linux commands write, talk... And there are some lan chat applications on sourceforge.I haven't tried myself, as have neither network nor pals to chat with. You have to try what works and is suitable for you...
