Imageshack is blocking some images from the docs subdomain

That has little to do with SliTaz and more to do with your internet service provider. You see, for some weird reason ImageShack has implemented viewing ability based on your IP and for registered service providers it renders the images perfectly. For those that haven't registered with ImageShack... they get the frog & ice cube image. This is probably to prevent unauthorised hot-linking or abuse by bots. Personally, I think it's kind of stupid.
One way around it is to create an user account with image shack and to log in to it. Then all the images will render perfectly. It's either that or persuading your ISP to register with ImageShack.

They do seem to have a white-list for countries they must see as more profitable, but have you accessed the URL the placeholder image gives? bit.ly/imageshack-domain
It says:
Register your domain with ImageShack so that all images are visible on it.
Anyway, I believe you should host those pictures on your own server or use another image hosting that does allow hotlinking for everybody, like imgur.

I'm inclined to agree. This new policy of ImageShack sucks. I have registered some domains (my own - don't have any real slitaz access beyond edit rights on docs) with them but for some reason it still doesn't work for me (yet). We'll see if that has changed in a couple of days.

I just uploaded the images to the wiki. Now there not depend on imageshark anymore. This will be useful with slitaz-doc-wiki-data repo too. Since i'm trying to make a offline version of tank.

As a side note, I'm still waiting for imageshack to work for my domains ;)
