@ HadiLovelorn,
new Linux kernel versions have problem with Old keyboards
SliTaz doesn't have a new Linux kernel version...
I tried plpbt but still doesn't boot with USB memory
Strange. I can boot all of my 3 old computers (more than 20 years old, no USB Boot option) using PlopBoot Manager (v.5.0.15) with this entry:
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/plpbt.bin hiddenusb
The USB stick must be connected before the entry is selected.
Concerning the keyboard, can you do a test with an external keyboard?
(If you use a USB keyboard, it's possible that Plop doesn't see it so you'll have to wait the TIMEOUT
before the DEFAULT
entry starts).
when I boot to SliTaz Live it doesn't show any thing but a huge Terminal and it gets ok with GTKOnly Live Boot
When booting SliTaz Live
entry, according to the quantity of memory of the system the most appropriate flavor (base or JustX or GTK Only or Core) is launched. It seems you boot JustX (Xorg with the terminal Xterm). How many MB RAM has the computer?
I guess if I use old SliTaz it will work but as soon as I update SliTaz , The bug will come over again ......
No, update is not upgrade. After an update SliTaz 4.0 will always be SliTaz 4.0, not Rolling. But SliTaz 4.0 is already 10 years old and some programs, like Midori, won't work...
