   ...libdvdread.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

   Last Saturday's iso comes with libdvdread.so.8.0.0. MPlayer works perfectly
   when I create a "libdvdread.so.7" symlink to version 8.

   is a freshly compiled mplayer package that should use
   libdvdread.so.8.

   As package maintainers cannot install and try all packages they
   maintain, it is a great help, when someone tests the functions of
   a package and reports bugs.
