Hi
As I can't start SliTaz friendly since month as it seems don't to understand how an old Intel processor and Intel chip set based PC (DELL SX270 with Celeron / alt. with Pentium, graphic i915, I am happy, I have 3 of such PC's and not one works; and my 4th PC, a 4 y old acer emachine with AMD64 and the terrible ATI graphic chips is also not happy. very difficult environment for SliTaz...) has to work, I continuously am looking at the mirror if new ISO's appears.
and, it is so. new small iso's relatively rarely, but new enormous iso appear often at http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/cooking/packages-cooking.iso
and as I know that the ISO's are probably containing the most actual base, I try each time if I have more success with the new one!
but I find the system COMPLETELY SILLY DILLY!
- no announcement (it would be easy to add each ISO a text file explaining the last changes at the same place in the mirror! If I see "no changes at all in the base" "not changes in xorg", I can immediately forget the new ISO and economise for me AND THE SLITAZ COMMUNITY a completely useless download of 3,5 and more GB!!!)
- no explanation how to work easily with such elephantical ISO's...
what do other SliTaz fans with those big ISO's? how does they operate with them? I didn't find some wiki page in the wiki or explaning text file in the mirror. probably I did make a bad search! did someone have a link for me to inform me what are the intentions with those colossal ISO's and how to work with them?
what is the point making interessant to publish those big ISO's more than one time in the same month as it was the case in April 2013 (and not refresh the base)? For whom? To do what with it?
kind regards
