The article is over 5 years old and no longer accurate.
tazusb.exe will only install single rootfs.gz iso.
Will not work work with slitaz-4.0 or rolling which are multi rootfs.gz
No persistence or regular user login when slitaz is installed from windows which uses fat32 or ntfs formated filesystem.

Out of curiousity :
Will any of the old versions still work as per the article ?
slitaz-2.0 release should work as long as you use xvesa.
Install xorg-server and you will have login failures and no persistence on fat32 and ntfs.
