1) yes, lot of computers integers, like you said, the CSM/Legacy feature;
in fact, we want it to be disabled :
uefi supports GPT and big sized disks
uefi supports fast boot
and a lot of others comfortable features
bios is just done... ipv6 is supposed to kill ipv4 in decades, bios should not survive to the uefi invasion..
that's why i specially wrote in the title "without legacy class3" that means without csm and all this legacy bios created by uefi... you could even run w98/XP with this legacy;
so if people with new computer with w8 or higher, with windows already installed want dualboot without reinstalling in legacy/csm, because wind installation is already made by manufacturer, why switch to csm/legacy, just for booting slower?
2) it's not the first prior of slitaz, but i think it's easily in the top10 (or 5..)
3) refind is like handling a new distro. in fact it's like i was installing slitaz after fedora to handle fedora grub2 bootloader to launch either slitaz through it.
the better solution for slitaz is to carry his own uefi installer, like it's possible with grub/legacy bios, when i was creating a live usb of slitaz i didnt need to use another distro..
really, i think make slitaz compatible with uefi could only be a good thing.. it's very useful either to do some IT intervention without having to switch csm/Leg on/off each time to recover data or try another OS...
here it goes :) :)
