Setting / connecting to PXE server

   Hi,

   I receive the following error message, when attempting to boot (a separate virtual machine) using the PXE method.

   ".TFTP error 1 (File not found)
   Unable to load file
   FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! system halted."

   I'm using VirtualBox running the SliTaz Live CD, configured as the PXE/DHCP/TFTP following the quick-start guide here: http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:pxe#pxe-server-set-up

   I suspect I may not have the boot files (bzimage and rootfs.gz) in the right location. They are in a \boot folder under 'SliTaz core' as seen from the file menu, or I may be missing part of the configuration. When I got to "Edit the configuration to add your boot options." I didn't see what I had to configure, the configuration button under the PXE tab opened a blank text document?!?

   I'm brand new at this (and Linux) so please be as simple as possible :-)

   # mount /media/cdrom && ln -s /media/cdrom/boot /

   Thanks for your reply, but I'm still seeing the ".TFTP error 1 (File not found)" error.

   I have also tried following OldGuys detailed instructions in this thread: http://vanilla.slitaz.org/index.php?p=/discussion/2495/how-to-boot-slitaz-from-the-iso-located-on-the-hard-disk-using-grub2s/p1

   I think the settings of my Server DHCP / TFTP are ok, but I'm not sure about the file location and permissions.

   The bzimage and rootfs.gz are located in what looks like a virtual CD Drive running in my SliTaz Live virtual machine. I copied these files to a folder called 'boot' which is one level above the 'root' folder (where the bin, dev, etc home, lib... folders are). In this 'boot' folder I have a folder called 'pxe' and in that is a pxelinux.cfg folder and the bzImage and rootfs.gz files. In the pxelinux.cfg folder I have a file called 'default' which contains the menu items.

   I was unable to change the permissions when I entered 'chmod -r 644 /boot/pxe/*' as it just said file/folder not found, so I went to the boot folder and just gave the 'pxe' folder (and everything within it) all permissions, I'm not sure if that causes a problem, but thought it would remove any permission issues).

   I've been through this guide a few times now to no avail. :-(
