Hey just a silly question:
Why did we move to Slitaz Panel (WEB Based) instead of Package Manager?

tazpkgbox's gui is gtkdialog.
gtkdialog is no more maintained and has bugs in xml parsing.
tazpanel's gui is html. It is faster and lighter. The code is smaller, easier to maintain.
The html output should be backward compatible in the future (You can still browse 1995 html pages).
You can use tazpanel remotely without X support (with a smartphone).
Every box should move to tazpanel eventually.
Yea and tazpanel anyone can access if you are connected directly to internet, easyly hacked yea?
Right. Fixed: http://hg.slitaz.org/tazpanel/rev/f39f71764292
Too far you hid the package manager. It's not easy. Why not make a direct access from the menu?
@ztealmax
Tazpanel login password is the system root password.
Make strong system root password in xterm hacker can't crack.
Second line of defense:
Run your LAN computers behind a hardware NAT firewalled router.
The router has to be configured to port forward 80 to the i.p. of target machine running tazpanel before any hackers or you could connect from internet to machines tazpanel.
Third line of defense:
Run i.p.tables on each machine within your LAN
