I'm not sure I should be posting this in this specific subforum.
I tried slitaz-rolling.iso some months ago and it was working fine. In the last few weeks I downloaded new rolling iso images, and every time I test them the "core" boot option shows just a black screen.
By testing other boot options, I found out that the "autologin" is failing. Apparently, the (supposed-to-be) default password for "tux" is not recognized.
When using less-ram boot options (instead of "core"), the screen shows a new request for user and password (where "tux"+"<no password>" is failing, and "root"+"root" is accepted). But when trying "core", I have to ctrl+alt+backspace to see the terminal requesting a new user; otherwise, all the screen is black (waiting for a new user name to be typed in, but the user doesn't know it).
I hope my description is clear enough. If more info is needed, please don't hesitate to ask.
