What do you give for "TGT_PARTITION" when you just want to install it to the systems one and only hardrive?
4.0-base, commandline only.

The comment in the tazinst configuration file has answer:
# Install Target (Root Partition, ex /dev/hda5).
TGT_PARTITION=""
First partition the hard drive with fdisk.
Use fdisk -l
or blkid
to find /dev/????
Ya, that's just the thing. There are no disks that I can find. both fdisk -l and blkid return blank results. There is some tmpfs thing found with "df", which is apparently two different filesystems, one mounted to / and the other to /dev/shm, but they do not work when used in the config file.
Its just a generic tiny SCSI hard drive. Created by VMware Workstation.
I thought I must of been missing something really stupid, but maybe SliTaz-base does not have the right drivers to access this hardrive?
Wait, I am seeing a forum post that says I might need to use an IDE hardrive. Which does not make a whole lot of sense, Slitaz is new, and IDE is completely antiquated. Can you even buy IDE drives anymore?
But I will give it a try.
Yep, that did it. At least it read the disk
But I got a permission denied for a line 54 ... splash.xpm.gz
It seemed to install, but it does not boot to it.
